Public Discussion of a Research Work Nominated for the Ihor Yukhnovskyi Prize
October 1, 2026 at 12:00In accordance with Annex 6 to Resolution No. 4712-IX of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of December 4, 2025, “On Approval of the Regulations on Prizes and Scholarships of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine annually awards up to 50 Ihor Yukhnovskyi Prizes of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to young scientists. The prizes are intended to support the development of science and technology in Ukraine and young scientists, as well as to create additional opportunities and incentives for conducting fundamental and applied scientific research and scientific and technical (experimental) development.
Research works intended for submission to the competition undergo a public professional discussion for four months from the date on which the announcement is published.
This year, the Applied Mathematics Department is nominating the research work “Method of Matched Sections for Static, Transient, and Spectral Problems of Mathematical Physics,” authored by the Department’s PhD students and assistants Kirill Danylenko and Anton Tsybulnyk.
