Admission to the magistracy
In 2024, admission to the master's degree programme in 113 Applied Mathematics under the educational programme Data Science and Mathematical Modelling will be conducted on a competitive basis, as before. When applying for a master's degree, both by state order and at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities, it is necessary to pass a single entrance exam (SEE), a professional entrance exam and submit a motivation letter. This year, the USE consists of two parts - a foreign language of the applicant's choice (English, German, French or Spanish) and a general learning competence test (GLT) to test the required level of knowledge in critical, analytical and logical thinking. To take the EMI, you need to register from 08 May to 31 May (until 18.00) and take it from 26 June to 18 July.
Clarification
Documents for admission to a master's degree programme are submitted exclusively electronically. Up to 5 applications can be submitted under the state order, indicating the priority of applications, the number of applications at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities is a maximum of 15. In order to submit documents, you need to register an electronic cabinet from 01 July and then register for the professional entrance exam.
Professional entrance examinations to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will be held from 17 July to 28 July inclusive. Applications can be submitted from 31 July to 21 August inclusive.
The work schedule of the certification committee and the schedule of entrance examinations after their determination will be published on the website of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics.

The cost of one year of master's study at the Department of Applied Mathematics in the academic year 2023/2024 has not changed since the previous academic year:
full-time (full-time) form of study - UAH 41,900
part-time study - UAH 27,900.
To enter Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute you need:
- a copy of the ID-card with a document of residence registration or passport-book;
- a copy of the identification code;
- for men - a copy of the registration certificate;
- 4 photos 3x4 cm;
- 2 copies of the study agreement;
- if available, copies of documents confirming the privilege and birth certificates, if parents are entitled to it;
- an application from your personal account if you apply online.
If you are submitting documents in person, you must bring the originals with you. You do not need to submit certificates of ZNO/ NMT, EMI, EMI and documents on the PSPO this year.
