PhD Defenses at the Department
September 9, 2026 at 20:35On August 31, 2026, two PhD theses were successfully defended at the Department of Applied Mathematics in specialty 113 "Applied Mathematics" (Field of Study 11 "Mathematics and Statistics"):
Dmytro Koltsov successfully defended his dissertation:
"Corotational beam spline method for curve matching and corner detection in images"
(One-time Specialized Academic Board ДФ 26.002.433, thesis advisor Igor Orynyak).
Anton Kozyriev successfully defended his dissertation:
"Stochastic quantization methods for scalable big data cluster analysis"
(One-time Specialized Academic Board ДФ 26.002.451, thesis advisor Volodymyr Norkin).
