PhD Admissions
The Applied Mathematics Department invites applications for third-level education (Doctor of Philosophy) in the specialty F1 "Applied Mathematics" under the educational and scientific programme "Applied Mathematics".
The educational programme is accredited; the accreditation certificate is valid until 01 July 2029.
Admission to the PhD programme is competitive. Applicants must hold a Master’s (or Specialist) degree. Only those who have submitted all required documents in accordance with the University’s admission regulations within the specified deadlines will be allowed to take the entrance examinations. The Admissions Committee may deny access to the entrance examinations solely due to failure to submit the required documents on time.
To be admitted to the PhD programme, applicants must pass the Unified Entrance Exam (ЄВІ) and the Unified Professional Entrance Test (ЄВВ) in Research Methodology.
To take the ЄВІ and ЄВВ, registration must be completed from April 23 to May 14 (by 18:00) at any higher education institution authorised to register candidates for these exams. Both exams must be taken from July 14-29. After successfully passing the ЄВІ (with a minimum of 300 points in total) and the ЄВВ (with a minimum of 100 points), applicants must sit the university’s entrance exam in the specialty and submit a motivation letter.
Applications for PhD admission in 2026 will be submitted electronically from August 7-25 via personal applicant accounts on the website: https://vstup.edbo.gov.ua/.
