On February 18, the Simulmedia CEO, Dave Morgan, visited our department. The collaboration between the department and this company has been ongoing for some time now, particularly in the format of a Machine Learning Week, which took place earlier this year on January 27-31. Mr. Morgan's visit is a continuation of this collaboration.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the Department Oleg Chertov, Academic Secretary Danylo Tavrov, Professor Igor Orynyak, Associate Professor Sergiy Syrota, and Assistant Lecturer Maksym Shchoholiev, who, in addition to teaching at the department, also works at Simulmedia. During the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in terms of inviting students for paid internships at Simulmedia, and in terms of research, particularly in the field of developing mathematical models for controlling unmanned aerial vehicles and conducting relevant field tests.
