Updating Educational Programmes With Stakeholders
May 5, 2025 at 12:00The department continues its series of meetings with stakeholders of its educational programmes. Following a highly engaging conversation with Dave Morgan, on May 4, the Head of the Department, Danylo Tavrov, and Professor Igor Orynyak met with Valerii Buslaiev, a stakeholder of the educational and scientific master's programme, and Hlib Yudin, a stakeholder of the educational and professional master's programme. Both stakeholders are alumni of the respective programmes from previous years. Valerii is currently also a PhD student at the department and works for IT-Enterprise company, while Hlib works at the Scientific and Technical Center of the Joint Stock Company "National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom".
During the meeting, the department head and Professor Orynyak discussed with the stakeholders ideas for updating the educational and scientific programme in order to align it with the programmes of partner universities within the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters project Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Data Science for Industrial and Societal Challenges, which is being implemented by our department. Updates to the educational and professional programme were also considered, aiming to strengthen it with practically oriented educational components.
Both stakeholders agreed with the proposed ideas and expressed their support for their implementation in the department's educational process.
