We congratulate Viktoriia Gromova, Assistant at the Department, on being awarded the Certificate of Honour by the Academic Council of Igor Sikorsky KPI!

V. Gromova has been working at KPI since February 1972, and since 1973 at the Applied Mathematics Department, initially holding the positions of Engineer and Senior Engineer, and from 1979, the position of Junior Researcher. She participated in the execution of commercial research contracts, focusing on the development of system and application software in Fortran IV, PL/1, and Mnemocode. During her tenure as a Junior Researcher, she supervised term papers and graduation projects, and co-authored methodological guidelines for laboratory work in the course "Fundamentals of Scientific Research".

From 2000 to the present day, she has been working as an Assistant at the Applied Mathematics Department, conducting laboratory and practical sessions, and supervising term papers in the following disciplines: "Special Programming Languages", "Operating Systems", "Programming in Pascal", "Programming in Assembler", "Programming in C", "Programming in Python", "Functional Programming", and "Front-end Development". She has developed a number of educational and methodological manuals endorsed by the University's Methodological Council for these respective academic courses. She has co-authored 6 scientific articles during her time as an Assistant and has supervised approximately 100 Bachelor's degree graduation theses.

She is a member of the Kyiv Mathematical Society. From 2010 to the present day, she has been active in student accommodation management as a Deputy Dean. Her responsibilities include student check-ins, assistance in conflict resolution, as well as encouraging students for their support in maintaining order within the dormitory.

In these difficult and challenging times, and despite her extensive professional experience, V. Gromova has successfully mastered new forms of communication with students, continuously providing support and guidance across all the disciplines she teaches.
