Requirements for Reviews of Final Qualification Theses
According to the Regulations on the examination commission and certification of applicants for higher education in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, each final qualification thesis should have an independent review.

- Review structure
The review is written in free form and should include the following:
- the compliance of the qualification thesis with the approved topic and task
- the relevance of the topic
- the relevance of the qualification thesis (its completion commissioned by companies, organisations, or on a research topic of the department, etc.)
- the general overview of the content of the qualification thesis
- the extent of the use of modern scientific achievements, mathematical methods, and information technologies
- the justification and originality of the decisions made and the results obtained
- the availability and completeness of experimental validation of the decisions made
- the quality of execution and the compliance of the qualification thesis with the requirements of current standards (DSTU 3008:2015, DSTU GOST 7.1:2006, etc.)
- the potential for implementing the results of the qualification thesis
- the drawbacks of the qualification thesis (mandatory)
The last sentence of the review should be the following:
- for bachelor's theses: "I believe that the reviewed work meets the requirements for bachelor's theses in the field of Applied Mathematics (major 113) and deserves the grade "[excellent/good/satisfactory]", and its author, [name, initials of the student], deserves to be awarded the qualification of Bachelor of Applied Mathematics."
- for master's theses: "I believe that the reviewed work meets the requirements for master's theses in the field of Applied Mathematics (major 113) and deserves the grade "[excellent/good/satisfactory]", and its author, [name, initials of the student], deserves to be awarded the qualification of Master of Applied Mathematics."
Under the word "Reviewer", the academic degree, academic title, and position should be indicated (aligned to the left), followed by the name and surname (aligned to the right) of the reviewer of the final qualification thesis.
ATTENTION! All reviews must be stamped, even if the reviewer is the member of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics!
