Requirements for reviews of final certification papers
According to the Regulations on the final certification of students of NTUU "KPI", a review is attached to each final certification work.
- Structure of the review
The review is written in any form and indicates
- compliance of the attestation work with the approved topic and task
- relevance of the topic
- the reality of the attestation work (its implementation by order of enterprises, organisations, on the scientific topics of the department, etc.)
- a general overview of the content of the attestation work
- degree of use of modern achievements of science, mathematical methods, information technologies
- validity and originality of the decisions made and the results obtained
- availability and completeness of experimental confirmation of the decisions made
- quality of performance and compliance of the attestation work with the requirements of current standards (DSTU 3008:2015, DSTU GOST 7.1:2006, etc.)
- the possibility of implementing the results of the certification work
- defects of the attestation work (mandatory)
The last sentence of the review should be the following sentence:
- for bachelor's degree theses: "I believe that by its level the reviewed work meets the requirements for bachelor's degree theses in specialty 113 Applied Mathematics and deserves the grade "[excellent/good/satisfactory]", and its author - [name, initials of the student] - deserves to be awarded the qualification of bachelor of applied mathematics."
- for master's theses for a master's degree: "I believe that by its level the reviewed thesis meets the requirements for master's degree attestation works in the specialty 113 Applied Mathematics and deserves the grade "[excellent/good/satisfactory]", and its author - [name, initials of the student] - deserves to be awarded the qualification of Master of Applied Mathematics."
Under the word "Reviewer", you must indicate the academic degree, academic rank and position (on the left edge), initials and surname (on the right edge) of the reviewer of the final certification work.
PLEASE NOTE! All reviews must be stamped, even if the reviewer is a member of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics!

The Department of Applied Mathematics has prepared templates for reviewing that take into account the above requirements:
- Bachelors: MS Word template. In some places, the positions that the student must bring into line with his/her work are highlighted in yellow
- Masters: MS Word template. In some places, the items that the student must bring into line with his or her dissertation are highlighted in yellow
