As part of our commitment to the continuous quality improvement of our academic offerings, the Applied Mathematics Department hosted a graduate curriculum review meeting on December 10. The session brought together the faculty members involved in delivering the Master's Educational and Professional Programme in "Machine Learning and Mathematical Modelling" (formerly "Data Science and Mathematical Modelling" prior to 2025). The meeting included key contributions from the Programme Guarantor, Professor Oleg Chertov; Head of the Department Danylo Tavrov; and Associate Professors Pavlo Maslianko and Violeta Tretynyk.

During the session, the faculty shared their assessments of the programme's initial semester under its newly updated format. The consensus among the group was that the curriculum's core architecture remains highly effective and does not require substantial restructuring at this stage. As a potential enhancement, the faculty proposed exploring the introduction of a new course component, Machine Learning. Academic Year Paper, to replace the existing Modelling of Complex Systems. Academic Year Paper module.
