Why did you decide to become a teacher?

It most likely started as a matter of family tradition. My parents were both teachers. Over time, I simply could not imagine doing anything else. I truly enjoy communicating with mature, intelligent young people.

Since when have you been working as a lecturer at KPI?

Since 2020. Before that, I taught at Zaporizhzhia National University.

When did you first become interested in mathematics?

I was very fortunate with my school. My gymnasium had a strong focus on mathematics, so mathematics has been my “number one” subject since childhood.

What do you do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies?

Unfortunately, I do not have much free time. I enjoy reading. The most recent book that surprised and fascinated me was A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara — it is very unconventional.

When it comes to holidays, the most exciting thing for me is travelling to the mountains. I have been to the Caucasus and climbed Mount Elbrus. It was astonishing — I cannot compare it to anything else.

Which three films or series would you recommend watching?

    The miniseries Mildred Pierce.

Is there a favorite city from your travels that left a lasting impression on you?

I have been to Rome only once, but I hope to return someday.

What qualities do you value in people, and what do you dislike most?

I value sincerity, and I cannot stand sycophancy.
