Applicant’s Day on May 13

Dear applicants and their parents!

Applied Mathematics Department invites you to the faculty Applicant’s Day, which will take place on May 13, 2017, at 12pm in room 97, building 15.

After the official part, a meeting with the Head of the Department, Prof. Oleg Chertov, will take place in office 72, building 14 (the fifth floor).
During the meeting, all the topics related to admission process and studying at the Department will be covered.

From Now on, Python is the First Programming Language at the Department

Starting with the following academic year, freshmen at the Applied Mathematics Department will begin their programming studies with Python. The whole first semester will be devoted to mastering this language.

Oleg Chertov at the “Synergy: IT education and IT industry” conference

On December 15, 2016, the Head of the Applied Mathematics Department Oleg Chertov participated in the Fourth International Conference “Synergy: IT education and IT industry.”

During the conference, a fruitful discussion took place involving representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and IT companies “Reforming the Universities. University Autonomy for Enhancing Efficiency of IT Professional.”
